I have had a number of complaints about not receiving the confirmation email or simply “my account is not working.” I have tested the confirmation utility several times with different email accounts and it works fine.
Here are a few reasons as to why your email MAY not be reaching your mailbox or your “account is not working.”
1. Your spam killer application is catching the email
2. Your web mail filter diverted the email to the bulk/trash folder
3. Your ISP might be blocking FreeAdLists.com‘s IP address
4. You typed in the wrong email address (happens frequently) or simply forgot which email address you used to register
5. You used a phony email address and the remote mail server complains the account does not exist
6. Your mailbox is full
7. You are a known spammer and your request was deleted
8. You are a known scammer, especially the Nigerian 419 low-lifes – same as #7
9. You did not realize a confirmation email was forthcoming
10. Your mail server connection died so the message has been in the queue too long
11. You registered/posted classified ads with several other ad sites on your long list; however, you simply forgot you did not register or post a classified ad with FreeAdLists.com.
