About a week ago, this blog used to be hosted at freeadlists.wordpress.com, but I had to move it to a server where I can control the censoring of content. What happened? In a blog post, I harshly complained about the data entry, ad postings, paste ads spammers (The “*jobs for you* “.” com” type spammers — I think you know who I’m talking about) because their affiliates were incessantly spamming FreeAdLists.com. Well, Wordpress banned me for my efforts. I’m fairly certain the ban was inadvertent and systematic; but apparently, naming those spammers was ill-advised since they were probably banned terms. I emailed Wordpress.org to plead my case, but they didn’t even acknowledge its receipt. I think the ban was BS but “Live and Learn.” It was free platform hosting…what did I really expect?
By the way, before I moved the blog, I received about 35-50 visits per day. After I moved it to the server, I receive about 2-5 visits per day – no big surprise. It was stumbled earlier so the aforementioned statistic was a surprise.
